A Wrightsville Beach
tradition since 1941

For more than eighty years, The Surf Club has been a distinguished gathering place on the shores of Wrightsville Beach.

The Surf Club was established in 1941, inspired by the residents of Wrightsville Beach who wanted a place to dine and entertain through the busy summer season, when families from inland communities came to the coast to escape the heat. It quickly became the nexus of social life along the shore and a celebrated setting for elevated summer dining. That legacy endures today across the pavilion and the clubhouse, and in the weddings and celebrations the Club is now known for.
